Age 20ArtAn incredible artist and a survivor.
“I draw people in the street — not to capture their exact features, but to tell their stories. Every line I draw holds emotion — pain, resilience, or hope.”
Hasan is a 20-year-old artist who dreams of leaving Gaza to pursue his art career. He has already established a network of supporters globally, and has had his work exhibited across the world through Palestinian advocacy networks and gallery spaces.
“I draw people in the street — not to capture their exact features, but to tell their stories. Every face I see carries something deeper. Every line I draw holds emotion — pain, resilience, or hope. This project is not only about art. It is about giving a voice to those who are rarely heard, and turning real human stories into something that can create change. I am also a student with a dream — to study art in the UK, to grow, and to share our stories with the world through my work. The path is not easy.”
He lives with his mother and siblings in Gaza City after being displaced from their home. They are struggling to afford the rent to stay in their flat, but did not want to be in a tent any longer. He is a determined and ambitious creative, with a talent that deserves the opportunity to grow.
